County bounce back with convincing league win against UCL IIs. The match highlight was a 20 yard screamer from Jules Cinotti

SCFC 4 -1 UCL IIs

After last weeks awful availability and the following result. County has something to prove. They produced a very convincing win against an average UCL side. A brace form Jules Cinotti, especially his 20 yard screamer was the games highlight.

Saturday morning again had its disappointments with Tom Case crying off at 9.30am, luckily Tom Tinneny was visiting from Holland and was drafted in at 1pm.

County kicking off right to left started the game brightly. On 4 minutes a simple, but nice through ball from Jules Cinotti put the returning Steve Young clear. 1 on 1, he easily slotted home. 1-0

The next 20 minutes no real threat from either side. Both sides were guilty of missing that bit of quality but were looking to play the ball around.

On 23 minutes a simple UCL long ball had Bradley Doherty running towards his goal. With Stef Shamlian crying away, confusion and a miss-judged header allowed the UCL striker through and he finished well. 1-1. An awful and avoidable goal.

County felt a little sorry for themselves and rightly so. We hadn't deserved this but it was all our fault.

Looking to get back in front again we were playing some good stuff but rushing our final ball.

With 30 minutes on the clock, Steve Young found himself clear down our left, crossing the ball bounced around in the box and fell to Jules Cinotti, who had a simple tap in. 2-1

A Glen Farley shot on 35 minutes saw the 1st half action come to an end

HALF-TIME - 2-1

On 47 minutes goal of the game. The ball drops to Jules Cinotti 20 yards out and the keeper dives after the ball its the back of the net. 3-1. Lovely hit and a vital goal.

Still playing the ball around confidence was high. 55 minutes and a Tony Sayers 40 yard free kick found Cam Wallis, he beat a defender and finished superbly from a tight angle. 4-1

UCL had little threat over the remainder of the half and it was some what a quiet afternoon for Stef Shamlian in goal.

We had further chances to extend our lead and send a real message to our league opponents, but Reshane Dixon, Steve Young, Neil Spackman and Cam Wallis didn't find the target, with Cam Wallis having the easiest of these but headed into the keepers hands from 1 yard.

FULL-TIME 4-1

A good win and shows the quality we do have when availability isn't an issue! Time to spend more time playing together on Tuesdays evenings.
